The Kids Bubblemaker Scuba parties have so far been a huge success, and are aimed at children between the ages of 8 and 11. The birthday child can invite up to a maximum of 9 friends (we provide the party invitations) for a fun filled morning of scuba diving in the pool, under close supervision from one of our PADI instructors. Games include underwater Frisbee, torpedoes, underwater ‘James Bond’ style scooters and more.

Prerequisites
Minimum age 8
A parent or legal guardian must sign and complete the Bubblemaker statement before starting the Bubblemaker program. There are a few medical questions which must be answered ‘no’. Children should be comfortable in the water.

Duration
Roughly 2.5 hours, usually held on Sunday mornings from 9.30am to 12.00pm

Shrewsbury Pool, Surbiton or we can run at your own private pool.

Program Description
We set the scuba kit up for the kids and all jump in the shallow end of the pool. We then split the kids into two groups, the first group will try scuba diving first and the second group will try snorkelling, and then we swap the groups round. The group trying scuba diving will have an instructor go through some basic safety concepts and hand signals and help them into their scuba gear. They are then very slowly introduced to breathing underwater and once they are comfortable we start introducing some games. The other group will be with one of our Divemasters on the surface snorkelling and playing games. Each group will have at least half an hour underwater.
